About the HSK

Our specially designed courses are based on the widely accepted Han Yu Shui Ping Kao Shi (HSK), which is the standard exam for measuring proficiency in oral and written Chinese. The exam is administered by the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China, and it is required for those wishing to work in some companies or study non-language subjects in a Mandarin language environment. Academics

At KCE we know how important HSK certification is for anyone looking to pursue a graduate degree, or looking to work in international business or diplomacy. Therefore we have specially designed our courses to prepare our students for this very important exam. Both speaking and reading/writing courses are targeted to the HSK vocabulary list,grammatical lesson content is taken directly from previous exams, and frequent practice tests will prepare you for the initially daunting and unique format of the test.

Accommodation

Due to the intensive nature of the program, most students prefer to choose the private apartment housing options. The nature of full-time intensive academic study does not lend itself to Homestay, as HSK Track students will have less time to spend with the Host Family than most Host Families would desire.
